SUMMARY:Systems convening: its role in the spread of innovation and improvement – with Diane Ketley
DESCRIPTION:How do we enable the spread and adoption of complex innovations to improve health and care outcomes\, efficiency or experience for patients and staff across the health and care system? \nQ member Diane Ketley’s new publication for NHS Horizons ‘Leading the Spread and Adoption of Innovation and Improvement: A Practical Guide’ offers seven interconnected principles along with tools\, case studies and further resources – including systems convening. \n \nSystems convening is increasingly recognised as an enabling leadership activity to catalyse sustainable change\, across challenging silos\, in complex social landscapes\, amid changing circumstances. Case studies of this way of working\, including in the NHS (from 4 Q members)\, are included in the recent book ‘Systems Convening – a crucial form of leadership for the 21st century‘. \nIn this Q zoom we plan to explore how systems convening can help the spread and adoption of complex innovations and improvements in the healthcare system. \nBook now via>> Meeting Registration – Zoom

SUMMARY:South Eastern Trust Quality Week
DESCRIPTION:During World Quality Week the South Eastern Trust will showcase all that is good about the quality of the care they provide to patients\, service users and staff.  This year\, more than ever\, it’s important that HSC colleague’s celebrate what we’re doing right\, what improvements we have made and what we have learnt along the journey.  During this week South Eastern Trust will launch the Trust’s 9th Annual Quality Report (AQR) – and the fact it gets bigger and more comprehensive each year is a testament to the on-going commitment to driving the quality agenda that exists throughout the Trust. \nThe report provides the assurance that\, despite the challenges the Trust has faced\, it is delivering high standards of care/services\, in a culture that fosters quality improvement. The report will  highlights a number of the significant achievements and improved outcomes for patients/clients and staff and details priorities looking forward towards the challenges that 2021/22 (and beyond) may bring. \nTo keep up to date with celebrations and coverage of Quality Week 2021\, follow @setrust on Twitter \, visit the website tagged below or contact Sharon.thompson@setrust.hscni.net for further information.
