The HSCQI community has been active in helping reconfigure services, designing new services and supporting teams to work differently to address the challenges of
Covid-19.
Extensive work has gone on across Health and Social Care (HSC) and the Quality Improvement (QI) teams in Trusts and Primary Care are working with their colleagues to capture this excellent learning . They have kindly agreed to share the QI tools they are using to capture the learning.

The Covid-19 pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges for the planning and delivery of health and social care (HSC) services in Northern Ireland. The Strategic Framework provides an analysis of the adverse impact of Covid-19 on HSC services. It also sets out the approach to restoring services as quickly as possible, taking into account examples of innovative approaches to service delivery, developed in response to the pandemic.

This will see the development of incremental service plans, detailing how capacity can be increased in the context of COVID-19.
