Jocelyn is the Quality Improvement and Innovation Lead for South Eastern Trust. She is a Speech and Language Therapist by professional background with over 30 years’ experience within clinical and leadership roles. She has been an Improvement Advisor since 2017 and is a former Principal Consultant with the HSC Leadership Centre in Belfast.
Jocelyn’s curiosity regarding quality in healthcare was ignited early in her career through involvement in Chartermark and then again in 2014 through completion of the Trust’s ‘Safety, Quality & Experience’ programme which was instrumental in changing her thinking about how we can bring about measurable improvement in our health and social care settings.
She is a Scottish Quality and Safety Programme Fellow and a Clinical Microsystems Coach (Dartmouth Institute).
Jocelyn has a wide remit within her role and her main interests include complexity in health and social care and staff leadership development and empowerment through QI.
