Paula is the Assistant Director for Quality Improvement in th Southern Health and Social Care Trust,where she promotes a culture of continuously improving services, using evidence based improvement models. Paula has led on the development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Strategy within the Trust and is supported by a dedicated Quality Improvement Team. Paula oversees the delivery of a range of bespoke quality improvement capacity and capability building programmes which are externally accredited by Open College Network (NI). Paula and the QI Team have supported the development of a QI Programme for Service Users/Carers within the Trust and have overseen the delivery of this QI Programme across other Trust’s in Northern Ireland. Paula strives to ensure that quality improvement supports and enables the delivery of safe, personal and effective care, harnessing the Trust’s safety and patient experience approach as part of the Trust’s drive to deliver an integrated, co-production approach to quality, safety and patient experience.
Paula has over twenty years’ experience in Health & Social Care and has led service reform & modernisation initiatives since 2007 and more recently has also overseen the implementation of the Transformation Programme within the Southern Trust.
