Tracey White, Communications and Engagement Lead, HSCQI Hub Team

Tracey is HSCQI Communications and Engagement Lead providing strategic communication expertise to the HSCQI Network. Tracey has responsibility for the development and management of a range of communications and engagement initiatives that help support HSCQI  projects. Tracey leads on the HSCQI Network’s communication channels including web development, social media and curates content for these and other channels.

Bringing extensive private/public sector communications, marketing and public relations experience to the HSCQI Network, Tracey thrives on developing communications to improve engagement across HSC and beyond. Regular connections with other partners and stakeholders in health regionally and internationally help Tracey to enhance links and to communicate joint key initiatives and campaigns.

Tracey is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and has led award winning teams to achieve regional accolades including NI Public Sector Communications Team of the Year and In-House PR Team of the Year in NI CIPR Awards.

Tracey has recently graduated as a Scottish Improvement Leader, is a Q Community Member and is a graduate of the Q NetWeaver Course, which explored tools and techniques to influence effective networks.  Tracey loves the QI passion and dedication shown by colleagues and contacts across the HSCQI Network and enjoys being able to put the spotlight on the excellent people centered work.

Since joining HSCQI in 2019, Tracey has worked alongside HSCQI Network colleagues on regional scale and spread projects including Sepsis, Antimicrobial Stewardship in Care Homes, Towards Zero Suicide Safety Planning and Safer Connections for Children, to embed communications into project plans. During COVID-19 Tracey’s support to the HSCQI Virtual Visiting and Virtual Consultations Groups led to developing resources for service users and staff to share learning and raise awareness. More recently Tracey has led on the communications for the launch of the HSCQI Strategy and the Timely Access to Safe Care Programme. The development of new HSCQI website, the establishment of the HSCQI Communications Ambassadors Group and the development of HSCQI Network Communications and Engagement Strategy have been key strategic projects.
