All ready to unlock potential!

29 August 2019

Colleagues from across Health and Social Care enjoyed a great Q Community session with Maire Grattan on ‘Coaching for improvement.’ Participants came to the session with varying degrees of coaching experience and shared their own accounts of how coaching was an integral part of any QI work they undertook.

One of the takeaways for many of the participants was the importance of listening and the group put their listening skills to the test in a series of exercises.

Levette Lamb from the Improvement Hub was delighted to host another Q Session and commented:

’Coaching skills are so important in Quality Improvement work. We want Health and Social Care staff at all levels in our partner organisations to know that they can influence and make improvements. Coaching is one way to unlock the amazing potential of staff and involve more people in QI’
