Dr Aideen Keaney

World Quality Day gives us an opportunity every year to showcase the quality improvement (QI) work we do in health and social care.

The Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Quality Improvement Network, known as HSCQI, has been gathering learning from Covid19 over recent months in order to ensure that as a system we share and spread best practice, improvement and innovation. Quality Improvement practitioners from across the NI Health and Social Care system and beyond have been making changes at pace, rising to the huge challenges that Covid19 has presented. We have seen amazing improvements in the way we deliver care and the ways we work. On World Quality Day I would like to highlight the QI work happening across our Health and Social Care System and beyond and to pay a personal tribute to all those working tirelessly to ensure a safe, effective and compassionate health and social care experience for every citizen using our services.

Please click on the link below to find out more about some of the current HSCQI work that is capturing and sharing learning from Covid19.
