First Regional Scale Up Learning Event highlights progress and plans for the future.

Regional Scale Up Learning event

The first Regional Scale Up Learning event facilitated by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) took place on Friday 27th September at the Crumlin Road Gaol in Belfast. The event involved participants from the HSC across Northern Ireland and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement provided focused external facilitation and expertise.The Institute has a proven track record on supporting large scale up efforts in different health and social care settings.

 

 

The Scale Up projects are:

  • Improving Sepsis Care in Prehospital and Secondary Care
  • Towards Zero Suicide efforts
  • Antimicrobial Resistance in Primary and Community Care
  • Social Work Safeguarding Prototype on enhancing GP presence 

All four Scale Up projects are in different developmental stages and there is still time to get involved in the regional scale up work. Register via ihub@hscni.net if you are working in one of the four scale up project areas and are interested in getting involved. Previous experience in participating in improvement work is desirable but not essential.
