Q Exchange is a £800,000 collaborative funding programme, supported by the Health Foundation and NHS England. Q members from across the UK and Ireland have the opportunity to develop and submit project ideas for up to £40,000 funding. Applications will be opening on Tuesday 14 February 2023,
Last year the Southern Trust were successful in securing Q exchange funding for three QI projects. Reflecting on their success Jacqueline Morton, Quality Improvement Head of Service for Southern Health and Social Care Trust (SHSCT) is encouraging Q Members working on QI projects across HSC to consider putting their ideas forward in Q Exchange.
Jacqueline commented:
“Q Exchange funding has provided ou
r team with the opportunity to develop, test and assess the impact of their “BIG IDEAS” on patient care, safety and experience learning with and from the Q Community family across the UK. In Southern Trust we were delighted that three project proposals successfully secured funding: Project B+: Reducing Blood Testing Related Distress in Children; Competence, Confidence and Complex Needs Children and Getting Kids Hands on For Their Hearts
Hopefully Q Members in HSC will be successful again in Q Exchange this year.”
