The HSCQI Hub Team celebrated with the Queen’s University Medical Students on the last day of the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Student Selected Component (SSC) module.

Dr Jackie McCall, Clinical Lead HSCQI commented

“We had a fantastic last day at the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement SSC module and I would like to say a massive well done and congratulations to all the students that participated and presented their group QI projects. They showed an understanding of QI and hopefully now some of them will want to embrace the QI methodologies and tools and use them in improvement work as they progress in their careers.”

The 10-week module began in January 2023 and consisted of teaching sessions, guest speakers, e-learning and group work, with the students split into four groups to undertake their own group QI projects.
