The Improvement Hub for HSCQI has been on the road for the last month, visiting Trust locations across the region. Many different professional disciplines came along to the meet the team and the feedback on the Roadshows has been very positive.
Levette Lamb, from the hub, was one of the team on the Roadshows and commented:
‘The roadshows were fantastic opportunities to promote and grow the QI culture and we had a brilliant reception from staff in all locations. We had our stands in reception areas and staff canteens, and wherever we were we had lots of interest from staff. There were questions from staff interested in joining the Q Community and others who had heard we were there, and just wanted to hear more about QI and how they can get involved.
The Q Network is all about creating opportunities for people to come together and form a community – sharing ideas, enhancing skills and collaborating to make health and care better, the roadshows are a great platform to share this mission.’
The Roadshows provided insight into what Q members and potential Q members are looking for to help with their QI work and what they would like from the Improvement Hub for HSCQI in the future. It looks like regular roadshows across the region and more local events will be scheduled in response to the interest. The Improvement Hub appreciated the event planning and internal promotion of the roadshows that Trust colleagues had done in preparation for the visits and this joint working is advancing the interest and enthusiasm for QI across the region.
